This is a messenger bag that I made for my best friend, Emily (note the big curly E).  I had a little help from my boyfriend, mostly just helping hold the other end of the tape as we lined them up to make strips for the weaving on the front and the long one for the strap.  It's entirely duct tape, no inserts anywhere, though it probably would hold it's shape a little better if it had them.  It's hard to tell from the picture, but it's all white and shiny silver with pink trim.

This is my first post here, so I hope I'm doing this right.  Let me know what you all think!  Cheesy

Also, I guess I'm not allowed to post pictures yet, so please click my link and look. Smiley

That's AWESOME.  Great use of colored duct tape.

I recently got a friend addicted to knitting.  The look of madness and terror in her eyes as she whispered, "Maybe just one more round and then I'll stop . . ." will warm my twisted heart for weeks.

Thank you!  Her favorite color is pink, but the pink that duct tape comes in is REALLY pink and so making the whole thing out of pink just seemed a little over the top for her.  I thought the silver and white looked rather elegant... for duct tape. Wink

Wal-mart, but only some carry the pink.  Hopefully you've got a variety of stores around you that you can check out.  It's about $4-$5 a roll there.  Also, try ACE hardware stores.
