so i've seen this avatar floating around:

and HAD to make them a tad bit bigger....so i made myself and a few of my friends some patches to attach to whatever! thought they were cute so i wanted to share. i know the image is someone else's, but i dunno who's or i would credit them.  Undecided

anyway, thanks for looking!

Wow!  That is soooo cute!  I love their little Anime-looking versions -- they look like they'd be comfortable hanging out with Hello Kitty and Miffy and stuff.

How'd you make the image bigger?  Photoshop?

Those are adorable. And would look much better than those boring red white and blue kerry/edwards pins. I gotta try it.

That is so cute!  Beautiful job!  If I had a stack of them, I'd stand on a street corner handing them out for a small donation.

Those patches are great! I love the color choice, too.
Did you use acrylic paint?

Ahhh those are too cute. Are they copyrighted? I'm interested because my mom said that there are quite a few kerry edwards fans in her office and she thinks they would sell well... only i dont know if they are copyrighted and such and i dont want to infringe on someone else's work.
thanks  Grin
and i love those colors you chose!!

you know to be honest...i really don't know if they are copyrighted. the avatar/icon looks really professionally made so i wouldn't try to make profit off of it. what i'm doing is making as many as i can and passing them on. you could ask for donations while giving them out for the materials you used, maybe? i'm going to be making more today and post/pass them around my campus at ASU. yay!  Cheesy

I've seen that avatar, it's adorable! Making it into a stencil was an awesome idea. Although it seems to me that Kerry looks a little sad... maybe because he is not as hott as Edwards? teeheehee, I am so irrevrent.

I love the Kerry/Edwards image! I looked around to see if I could figure out where it came from, but no luck. So, I re-drew it in photoshop. The font is a little different, but I doubt anyone could tell. Here's a big-ish version (614x450) if anyone wants it.

If you want a ginormous version, I've put one up at http://www.ochenk.com/crafts/ke2004big.jpg

I used this big one to make an iron-on tee-shirt.

Thanks for putting a that image up.  Not having the time to actually make something crafty with it, I just printed it off, covered it in clear shipping tape, and stuck it on my book bag.  Nothing fancy, but it works. Smiley

I just traced the shape onto some fimo, baked it, and glue the paper on with some E6000.  It was so fun and easy, I did it while waiting for my friend to arrive at my apt.

Oh, thanks for the extra photo.  It's very cute.  Great idea.  I keep hearing about that magical E6000 glue that can bond steam locomotives together.
