i started out with this gigantic hoodie with a fit that resembled that of a potato sack.  then i made it fit less like a potato sack!

the sewing's a little wonky because i no longer have a sewing machine and had to do it all by hand, but it seems to have turned out alright (and none of the thread matches, but shhhhh).

It looks nice.  I have a few hoodies I need to do this too...but never the motivation.  Good job!

you use the word "wonky" too!

 hooray!

anyway, I think it looks nice, if a little blurry. you could always put trim on it, or buttons, or grommets.

aw, thanks.

sorry about the pictures being blurry...that's the only mirror in the house that works, and my camera and i don't exactly get along.

ooh, i like the idea of buttons.

do you think it would make a difference if i lined the hood with a different fabric, like something patterned or something?

yeah... a contrasting fabric would look nifty.
if you wanted to be really ambitious, you could take off the current pocket and replace that with contrasting fabric too.
that would be cool.
