Thanks to the "Mr. Bunny" posthttp://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=88776.0, I got possessed to make a bunny of my own. But not just any bunny...OH NO! It had to be one of the most put upon little bunnies
in comic history: Jhonen Vasquez's long-suffering creation, Nail Bunny. If you're curious, he's from Johnny the Homicidal Maniac.
Nailed to the lamp!

Nail Bunny still has issues...

but he's recovering just fine.

Detail of the teeth...

and the eye.

And now, the technical stuff: Knitted on US 6 dpns with the most ungodly pink yarn gotten on discount from Wal-mart. Both his eyes, teeth, nose, and mouth are sewn on with thread dug out of my mother's floss stash. His lips are greenEmbarrassedIt's decomposition...
It doesn't show in the photos, but there also a ring of stitching around his neck in black yarn. It was done mainly to cover-up a gigantic hole and ended up a design feature. Also, it may not look it, but one of his legs turned out fatter than the other.

I love it!

I did a filler bunny a while back... he's crochet. (I haven't posted enough to post an image, but here's a link)
