Finally!!!  I wanted to post pics like Tess, so I had to go through quite a bit of 'preparation'!

The lady of the house should ALWAYS be ready for her man's return with a nice, warm homecooked meal when he comes home from the office!  (Even if her hair IS still in rollers...and the homecooked meal looks an awful lot like a frozen dinner!)

Having your kid's favorite chocolate cake made for dessert is sure to put a smile on their face! (Even if you decide to forego the baking and grab the snack cakes from the store, they'll still smile!)

Setting a proper table is mandatory for a good hostess. (Don't worry if you don't have any table linens and have to use paper napkins...you'll be saving water by not having to wash an extra load!  And yes...I know the glass is on the wrong side...my husband takes my glass if I don't set it there!)

And the most important Happy Homemaker tip of all...ALWAYS wear a clean and pressed apron!

 Grin  Thanks, TessTessi!!!

Ha-ha!  Thanks.  My husband hates it when I put in rollers.  He doesn't like it quite so curly. (My hair is curly enough on it's own when it's the length that it is now.) I haven't done it in forever, though, and the occassion called for it!

I like to think of myself as a bit crazy!  It helps me to not go really insane!

Now, let's see the rest of those aprons!!!

Rach...are you back from your weekend away yet?  I remembered that you had said you were to be out of town for the weekend.

Mini...You've got to 'strike a pose' in your apron soon....we're all swooning from excitement over here!   Grin

Your fearless organizer,
RM

You girls had SO much fun with this swap!  I'm sad that I missed it, I DO love a good apron!
TessTessi and RM, I ADORED your 50's pin-up housewife action shots.  Those were a RIOT!  Tess, I got to see that apron on RM IRL on Saturday, it is great and SO her (she ain't just saying that!).

P.S. RM, you need to stop swapping until you make YOURSELF some placemats or a table runner!  And, you are almost out of syrup!  Tongue

OY--there is going to be a another round!!!

The hardest part is going to keep you ladies focused on crafting... Wink

Reminder: use links to your blogs or websites for non-crafting or additional pictures of the same thing  Wink

and TRY to stay focused on crafting comments or questions, hee hee--I have been thunked on the head so many times by the swap mods that it is now part of my mantra....

Yeah I posted them last night and they are not up for some reason... I finally accessed Craftster in between the times it was down for the switch, I guess it got lost in that.

Anyhow here they are again:

(pardon the PJ's)

So colorful! So lovely!

Thanks for brightening my kitchen, Moilulu!

-Rach

PS I said so awhile back on this thread, but Moilulu is quite the skilled seamstress! My pics aren't great and they don't show all the meticulously well-done seams and straps.

I can tell there was a lot of love and time put into this apron; I will certainly cherish it!

So cool! That print is so perfect for the 'Mod-Retro' look that you asked for, Rach!!  Great job on the sewing, moilulu!

Headed off to give you feedback now.

Thanks for posting pics, Rach.   Grin

Later!

Yes....I'm too lenient and too gabby to EVER be a Craftster Moderator!  It's a thankless job...I'm glad it's you and not me!  Thanks for being a mod, AIMR!  We love you!  I'm shutting up the off-topic stuff now...I promise!

Isn't it perfect?!

I wasn't sure what exactly I had in mind until I got Moilulu's package, then when I saw it I was like, "Yeah, that's it!"

I love your cute housewife pics, RecycleMicol! Thanks again for organizing.
