At Hancock's, actually! Hooray for President's Day sales, on a normal day I would never have been able to afford it but everything in the store was half price. Smiley I loved it so much I bought extra to make something for me. Thanks for the compliments everyone, and I'm so glad you liked it, KS! Smiley I had a lot of fun making it.

I'm not doing personal swaps right now, but if you're interested, go ahead and PM me anyway--maybe we can work it out for later. Smiley

While I like the no-stress of one-thing-and-one-thing-only, I have to say I'm naturally inclined to throw in a couple of extra things. I don't expect them in return, but it can be a bit painful thinking, "What's it going to hurt if I throw in a pot holder or a couple of dish towels?"

Yeah, I couldn't resist throwing in a bonus item myself. Ssssh, don't tell. I violated my own rule. But there were special circumstances.

But NOW ... after seeing the ongoing parade of aprons, I'm getting swap anxiety. Every single one is a gem. I'm definitely getting ideas for Round 2, if there is one. I feel I erred on the side of conservatism for this one. On the other hand, maybe it was only conservative in the context of my little brain-universe, and it will be totally unexpected and delightful to someone else. I can hope.  Cool

Hee-hee.  It was tempting to make a potholder for Ellenade, since I had about a fat quarter of fabric left over, but I refrained and just sent along the fabric and left over trim for her to make herself one!  Cool  I couldn't very well go and violate a rule now, could I?  Hee-hee!

Besides, it wouldn't have fit in that flat Global Mail envelope if it had been any thicker!

Ooo...cool!  I hoped you would like it!  I'll only get better on subsequent aprons!   Grin  Yours was like practice!

Now that I'm all dressed up to take some action shots of the apron you sent me, my hubby's gone!  Sheesh.  He took our daughter, so I can't get her to take another picture!

Hopefully I can get someone to take pics of it on me at the DFW Craftster Meet-Up!!!  Woo-hoo!!!

Leaving in 30 minutes!
Gotta run,

Oh boy, I'm in the Received Apron Club! Just look at what groschveux sent me ...

Zee front ..

(head cut off in all shots - I won't subject you to my bad hair day. And, yes, that's an abandoned shelf and a bunch of fallen lemons in the background - I'm a craftster, not a gardener)

Cute pockets, eh?

Place of honor next to kitchen essentials: water, gum, Futurama calendar

Isn't it beautiful? The colors and style are exactly what I like, and as you can see from the fabric close-up, the sewing is beyond perfection. She does this amazing 1/16-inch overstitching on the bias tape that would make a professional bias-tape-sewer jealous. I love it! It's gorgeous.

Thank you!
