I have searched EVERYWHERE near me and online and I can't find ANY yarn that would be suitable for a baby blanket (star shape to be specific) in Blue, yellow, and white (can have some green) I need one verrigated in listed colors and and some matching white blue and yellow. I definitely want pastel colors and not super bright (it's fof a baby girl to be and momma's fav color is blue and doesn't like pink) Can any of you fine folks recomend someplace online?
uber thanks in advance for any help you can offer!! Smiley

Go check out this one  http://www.joann.com/catalog.jhtml?CATID=82320&PRODID=91230  It does have some other colors in it, but it may be as close as you can get.  I swear I saw a red heart at walmart the other day with white, blue, and green, but maybe I'm making this up in my head.  Whenever you know EXACTLY what you want, you can't find it--I promise!  Smiley  I know that lots of people hate red heart, but it DOES get softer with washings and it holds up better than most inexpensive yarns--I have a blanket that my grandma made me 25 years ago that we still have on the couch and it looks the same as it did it's first day!

 ;)hi ya disneyfan!!
Don't you hate that as soon as you have the exact picture in your mind of what you need for a project... all of a sudden you can't even find anything close!! If I had no idea what I wanted I'm sure there would be options EVERYWHERE!!!
I checked the local W-mart last week and they were out of the only one that I thought would be close, so maybe if I look at a different store or check later I can get that.
Now I'm thinking that perhaps I'll go with light blue, white and purple (I think I saw that in 'cotton tots' somewhere). Smiley
Thanks for the idea!

Caron's Simply Soft is nice too -- they have the loveliest soft shades of sage green and dusty blue and nice light yellow...http://www.caron.com/color_cards/cc_simplysoft.html

AC Moore has a lot of nice yarns here -- I'm sure I've seen a variegated blues/greens by someone.  Will post if I can remember.
Here they are!

Good luck!

this might be too late, But Bernat cotton tots comes in those colors, even the variagated. It is so soft and gets softer with each washing, It is pretty affordable too at $4-$5 a skien. It is the only yarn I will use for baby projects any more.I can't say enough good things about this yarn, and I'm kind of a yarn snob with an aversion to cheap yarn.

Thanks for the advice! (and I love your avitar)
I do have 2 skeins of the cotton tots, I think I'll use it for myself. I ended up getting a bunch of solid (purple, green, blue and white) and blue verigated super soft yarn at my LYS when it was 60% off so that's what I'm gonna use.
