 i scanned an illustration, from john tenniel's orginal illustrations, from my copy of alice in wonderland.  i inverted the colors, and upped the contrast a little, until i had this:

height=340]

This is an inkjet print?? How do you make it print white? You can do that? I thought you could only print colors and black. Doesn't it only work with what you've printed out, and doesn't an inkjet only print black and cmyk? I'm intrigued! I must know how to do this...

it was on an inkjet.

when i flipped the contrast of the orginal image, the background was black.  i was going to leave it like that, but the color difference bothered me, so i trimmed around the outline of the figure.

so the white part is really just the transfer paper, while the blakc is the ink.

So... the white paper will still transfer onto a black t-shirt you mean? like the white of the paper transfers onto the t-shirt?

I think waldo used dark colour tshirt transfer paper. Most of then when you have no printec colour are just transperant.

LOVE the shirt! I love it when some one takes somthing and fiddles with it till they make it their own!
