I made this about two or three weeks ago and then sent it off to New Jersey for my littlest cousin.
It was my first time doing fair-isle, and I started off doing it double-stranded like I was supposed to, but it kept getting tangled so I re-did it single-stranded.
The black is Lion Brand Wool Ease and I think the turquoise is Paton's Merino or something. It's a really nice colour.
Here is an action shot!

P.S. This is my first post here, let me introduce myself a little bit.
My name's Lisle, I'm a week away from being 17, and I've been knitting since I was about 11.
Yeah!

Welcome and great job!  I'm glad to hear it worked out single stranded, I might try it that way too.
