many thanks to you_so_bri-ish and old fashioned bomber hats for inspiring this one.

i apologize for the crappy pics. the embroidery is just temporary - my mom is sending me a scarf for valentine's day and she's enclosing some (green) scrap yarn so i can embroider my hat to match. the little x's are just placeholders.

laid flat:

being modeled by Robbie-Bear:

edit: 2/11
i decided to do some embroidery today because my mom hasn't even mailed my scarf yet! besides, the yarn is bulky weight, so i'm not sure if that would even work for embroidery. i had some worsted purple yarn leftover from another project and decided to try some embroidering. i may add a few green dots here and there when it arrives, but i think the purple looks nice.

Great job!  Very nicely done... (and it looks especially cute on the model too.)

Will you be posting in pics after the embroidery is done?  I'd like to see them!   : )

Very cute! Robbie-bear looks adorable, too.
I'd love to see it with the scarf. Could you post up pics when it's done?

i'll be sure to post pics when i've got the final embroidery done. not sure what it's going to be yet...maybe a flower or just some swirls.

the pattern is my own doing. the first one i did turned out way too small (Robbie-Bear owns it now!) and this one may be a touch big. but...i still think it turned out pretty durn good.
