I was OH so excited to get my package from Folara today!
I think we were both a little bit nervous when we read eachother's questionairres- she didn't want novelty fabric and I love it, and she likes brocades and botanicals, which I have never bought before!
But it ended up that we had more in common than appeared at first glance, and she found some fun fabric in the novelty aisle after all Smiley
here's what I got:

-"loteria" by Alexander Henry (I think.) I was lusting after this yesterday while I was shopping for her! I'm so excited, this fabric will be zipper pouches before long.
-Funky rainbow hearts with stars all around them. So cute, it reminds me of Rainbow Brite!
-polka dots! I love the sage and chocolate combination. love.
-pink with yellow-y dots with more pink dots inside. This fabric is so spring time, it's going to be nice to make something cheery with it!
-pretty tattoo-style roses on a black background. I have to stick with tattoo fabric, cause I cant afford any more real tattoos  Undecided
-aaaand big ol' bright daffodils. The colors on this are so pretty, and I love the image! I'll have to get creative to use to whole image, I feel bad cutting it up.

the fabric is all awesome, but here was the best part:
my package was sealed with SAUSAGE tape!! Who got the best partner ever? meeeee.

Anyway. Thank you so much Folara, I love it all! Your package is going out this weekend [I have to find 1 more FQ.] You nailed my style, I hope it wasn't too painful shopping for me! Smiley

I recieved my fabric from igobymomof2 yesterday!  And I adore all of it...

Here's the lot of it...

And my favourite among the lot

Thank you so much!  I hope you like what I sent...all of a sudden I have even more swap anxiety!

PS...I LOVE that Moo fabric....I have got to figure out a cool way to use it...most likely I'll just mount it on a canvas as is and hang it up in my sewing room...or maybe use it as a backing for and applique cow....I love cows!  Thanks so much again!

Lovely fabric. I am actually using that "moo" fabric right now to back a baby quilt. It is SO cute.

I love the daffodil stuff, too. SO JEALOUS.

I need to get out to the post office. My packages are packaged. I'm lazy. DOn't worry partners! It will get there before too long (oh - and now it is snowing in Utah. Yesterday was over 50). Wierd.

I'm so glad you liked the fabric, FlashleyAshley! It was tons of fun buying fabric for you. The Loteria fabric is indeed Alexander Henry.

After I sealed the package I did worry a little that you would turn out to be a "meat is murder" vegetarian and hate the tape! But who can hate such delicious sausage?

Stacysews, the tape came from Archie McPhee--they have an entire line of meat-themed products.

I recieved from loves2experiment today, and I would just like to say, Thanks for making my first swap experience so, so wonderful! Cheesy Below are a few pictures I've taken... In addition to 6 fat quarters (all of which I love, by the way!!), the wonderful loves2experiment also included extra fabrics, freezer paper, since I had mentioned I was interested in starting up stencilling, and buttons, lace, and snaps that I could use for my blythe doll!

She also included a nice card!

Thanks for being such a wonderful, sweet swap partner, loves2experiment!! And thank you, Ezri_B for organizing this swap! <3
