It's really freaking cold in Finland now. The other morning it was -35 degreeses celcius... I was so happy I had a fever so I couldn't go to school

Today I finally finished a scarf I've been working on for over a month (it's a bit boring to do...), so now I'm ready for it to get freeeezing again

And just to get a little perpective on how big it is. I'm 172cm tall, and the long edge of the scarf it bigger than me with my arm up...
The yarn I used it Novita's Pirta. It calls for 4-5mm needles (US 6-8), but I used 6mm needles (US 10) and knitted a bit loosely.
I knitted it with circular needles 80cm long, but use as long as you can find
Pattern:CO 1st
1st row: yo, kf&b of the last st
2nd row: yo, k2, kf&b of the last st
3rd row: yo, k4, kf&b of the last st
4th row: yo, k6, kf&b of the last st
5th row: yo, k8, kf&b of the last st
6th row: yo, k10, kf&b of the last st
starting from row 7 always
yo, k5 at the beginning of the row, and
k5, kf&b of the last st. So you'll add 2 sts every row. Keep on doing this until you have
255 sts.
Then work the next six rows as follows:
1st-5th row: yo, knit to last st, kf&b of the last st
6th row: knit all sts
BO all sts
Add tassels if you want to.
Simple, a bit boring to do, but I think it looks great
