I made these a long time ago when i took a beading class. Thought i might share  Smiley

I made mostly bracelets, here are most of them..

I've forgotten what most of the stitches are called! If anyone can recognise them I'd like to know..  Smiley the black one is in flat peyote stitch, and the dark blue one right in the middle looks like herringbone but i remember the stitch had the word "african" in it.

close ups!

this is the one in african _______ stitch? it's my favourite.  Smiley

this was made by beading the pink parts at the side first, then joining them together in the middle with the smaller beads.

thought i'd share these here cos when i wear them nobody can comprehend the amount of squinting and jabbing myself with a needle these took! Smiley

he he - but admit it, they wouldn't be half as satisfying if you didn't jab yourself with a needle a few times!

seriously those are all really sweet. very nicely made.

oh and the stitch you're talking about is African ndeble stitch, also know as herringbone.

Those are all beautiful, but I LOVE (from the top picture) the second one and the last one, and I bet they were worth every jab. LOL.

My craft supply philosophy I stole from a line from AVP. ''I'd rather have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.'' But, they were talking about a condom. Tongue

These look like you need a lot of patience. You must be more patient than me because they are beautiful, especially the first one. I really like how the beads are different sizes, it makes it more interesting.

Wow! Those are unbelievable! Good job. I love the dark blue one best, I think, but they're all insanely gorgeous.  Smiley
