the thought of missing out on this swap kills me but I too am stumped at what to offer. I just bought a new pair of embroidery scissors and was thinking of offering a fabric scissor cover (for those of us that travel). I could also offer my altered matchboxes again. I just don't know

I'm making a craftster quilt using the Bright Hopes block. Wanna swap a block?

If I am able to join this round, I decided on charm bracelets and fingerless gloves. Smiley

ETA: I love bracelets, the more the merrier!

oh, yea, i think i have the time to join this round!

i was thinking of offering purple peony pins.  they are hand sewn from silk scraps.  they will all be purple, but with different materials. this is my prototype, the picture is about real-life size:

i'm going to tweak it a bit so the center is a little smaller.

i was just wondering what sort of interest there is for them so i know if i should sign up for 5 or 10.

thanks!

Sneeg~ I like that flower! I can see it on a tote to jazz it up or even on a crocheted spring hat! I have a blue silk dress that it would look great on, like a fabric corsage!

Javastain, you sound like the encouraging teacher... either that or the pushy enabler.  0Hahahaha...  The first one sounds better.

I am stumped.  I can't figure out what to make.

Any suggestions?

I knit, make jewelry things, make polymer clay stuff and sew a little.

I just learned how to crochet in christmas in order to make the sock monkey blanket in Happy Hooker.  I can't count crochet stitches though.  I asked my friends and they crochet but they don't know how to count stitches either.
What about those wooden knitting needles with a clay figure on the end?  (like a sheep, etc?)
Not sure if it would be too costly....maybe you could go the dowel route to make needles?
I just love the ones I have seen on Ebay....
