I posted this in the show and tell forum and they suggested that I put it here...

Good timing!

Here is my Chicken Baby Hat.  Own design... kind of odd... and oddly cute.  (cutely odd?)

The "stuff" hanging down are ties that go under the baby's chin.  I made them as "legs" with the feet at the end.

By request, here is the grumpy chicken perched atop the head of a babe... he might be extra grumpy because he is far too small for such a big noggin' She's a little too old for the hat...

but you get the idea...

That is adorable, and actually quite amusing. It looks grumpy about something. Maybe about the fact that it's going to be set on a cute baby's head, although it seems as though it should be happy about that. Smiley That is wonderful. Now I just have to post mine...

I LOVE personal swaps! If you see something I made that you like, and have anything fun or interesting or silly, tell me.

Yay, grumpy chicken! I really want to see it on a baby though.

I know!  I'm sending it to my brother and sis-in-law for a silent auction to benefit my nephew's preschool Shocked)
I'll ask them to photograph my niece wearing the hat- but I think it might be too small for her.  She's 8 mos... and has a big head Wink  The hat is sized for 6-9 mos.

I'll attempt to get a pic of a baby wearing it and update with one if I get it.

Thanks for the feedback Smiley

What a great hat!  I'd love to see a picture of it on a baby.
