I think the bracelet is fantastic, and I'll definitely be knitting the Tweeds socks for my brother's birthday this month!

No, I was merely reading the Muggle magazines. I do love knitting patterns.

(PS: when you have problems like that again in the future, where you see an old issue instead of the new one everyone's talking about, it's because the old issue is in your browser cache and your browser checks the cache before it checks the page.  Hitting "refresh" will usually solve this problem, but if not, clearing out your cache and trying the link again will.  I believe in helping people learn how to find their own solutions instead of just giving one to them. Cheesy)

I rather like the "A Scarf Askew," but they made it using Cascade Ecological Wool?? That's some itchy stuff, especially for a neck.

Yeah, I'm not wowed either.  And a bit sad at how few patterns there are.
I'm waiting for knitty too.

I am definitely not wow'ed either.  Especially since this whole issue is mostly socks.  It would be nice to see more patterns.....or at least a variety.

I like the Shimmer Socks.  Subtle, but unique pattern.  That first pic doesn't do it justice.

I agree.  I think it might be a little more obvious in a solid or semi-solid, but I really like those socks.  The rest, not so much.

Well, thank you -- I feel like much less of a sour puss now.  I wasn't impressed, either. IMHO, there just seem to be waaaay to many sock patterns out there lately.  I am currently knitting my first pair of socks, but I'm finding they are taking *forever* (I'm doing knitty's falling leaves... have my own little knitalong and everything) and I don't really wear socks anyhow, because I wear support hose all the time.
