csi princess - Ack! I'm having House withdrawl!!!!!! Don't remind me! Can't wait for the new season to start.

Oppsadaisy - You will be surprised how easy they go together. It will only take you one try to get the hang of it. You will have to post a photo of your kitty when done.

I made one of these a couple of months ago.
It's really cute but rather delicate. Does anyone know if there is something I could do to make these kitties more durable?

Did you use crochet thread? It's pretty strong. Definitely not something for a child to play with though.

Adorable!  I had made these once when I was a wee one, thanks for the tute!  They look so cuddly, you did a great job.

Is there anyway to make them more "play-able"?  My daughter (5) wants me to make her one and I just keep putting it off because I can see her little brother (1) getting a hold of it and shredding it!  Any suggestions?

No, I don't know what to tell you. They really aren't made for rough play. The only thing close to these was a pattern made from pom pom type construction. But even then they would pull apart with rough play. Maybe you could make her one that would sit on her shelf in her room on a cute little blanket instead of being played with.

Sorry I'm not of more help.

That sounds like fun. Be sure to send a link to the photos when it's done. Grin
