Thinking it wouldn't be too hard, I claimed Momof2! in the Ongoing Wish Swap for an easter bunny plush… in the end I made not one but three bunnies, trying to get it right. Thankfully I had enough fabric…

My first creation I baptized "Mr. Wonky", because his legs weren't in the middle and his arms were weirdly lopsided. I couldn't send him in the swap, but my mother immediately called dibs on him, so he went to a good home after all.
My second creation turned out somewhat more feminine-looking, yet still lopsided as the first try. Another bunny I couldn't send… on the upside, Mr. Wonky now had a wife. Because only a heartless person would separate such a happy couple, this one too ended up with my mother. (Aren't they cute?)

After two "fails" I figured that simple as it seemed, the pattern I was using (a free pattern from RevoluzZza) just wasn't working for me. So, I drafted one myself. And lo and behold, that did work!  This one is named William, and he's a bit smaller than the others. Because I used only one type of fabric for this bunny, I also made him a little vest.

I hope William will arrive in time for Easter!

Your pattern did work better.  And the vest gives it a nice touch.

Lovely bunnies but your pattern is by far the better of the two.
"If you want something done properly - do it yourself"  So true - although I expect you learned a lot about what did and didn't work from the first two bunnies.
I like his little red waistcoat and the expression on his face.
