I'm looking for a free pattern for just some simple gloves or fingerless gloves knit in a fingering weight yarn. The yarn I want to use is Lorna's Laces in mardi gras, and I have really small hands. Please help!

I'm crystalnickel on Ravelry!

I skimmed the Interweave article and didn't see double knitting mentioned. On the Hooray for Me Gloves pattern, under the heading Working with DPNs, it tells you how to use double knitting for the fingers.  I highly recommend it! I made a pair of fingerless gloves using this pattern and I think I would have given up if not for double knitting. Good luck!
