Soo my boyfriend has a bunch of stuff that I've given him while we've been dating and no place to really put it besides a dresser drawer which is sooo not the place for my craftiness haha. So I made him a box for Valentines day so he could put our stuff in it.

It's also going to serve as wrapping paper of sorts because I'm working on an accordian style book as well , buttt that's another post on another day.

This is the lid and a better picture of the heart i decoupaged on the top. The metal charm is a walrus, a sort of inside joke between us.

Here's the sides , I put a quote I found around the rim . It says , " I want these to be words that affect you.Words that have meaning , evoke feeling.Words that are not self-important.I want them to have meaning for us.I want to feel them experience them.I want them to be not just words"

and lastly the inside I painted gold , and on the lid I put the rest of the quote.

Do you think this might be too girly ? does the bottom look alright white?

lol I am indecisive

thanks for looking and comments <3

Whoa!  That drawing is really cool.  I get lost in it.

Great box too.  It's not too girly.

I can't take credit for it I found it online. I wanted a human heart to put on the lid without it being too hardcore

but thanks !!

it's not too girly at all...i know my boyfriend would love something like that...he used to have a nasty cardboard box that he put everything in...but he just switched rooms so i demanded that he DISPLAY everything. on a shelf. lol. but yah, i foudn that same quote and i had intended to use it on the box i'm putting my boyfriend's thing in too, so if i do say so myslef, good choice! lol.

i love that heart picture as well...

I love it! I'm doing something similar for my boyfriend. On the inside though I'm putting new things in there, small treats for him. Little love notes and candies and stuff. I think he'll like it.

The box idea is a great one, definitely better than a drawer or a plain old shoe box.  Like the others, I especially love the heart drawing, what a great choice.  It is amazing.
