Neck piece - inspired by the circulatory system

Near the end of last year, I felted up an ipod flesh jacket.
On a similar theme, I've since made this neck piece inspired by the circulatory system.

Then idea was to encapsulate the vibrancy + gore, but still have an overall beauty.
Although messy + colorful, the body is a beautiful thing!

And to give you an idea of size, it reaches the tops of my hips when worn

Although it does match this bracelet, it could be a little intense if worn together

Nope, the whole piece was wet felted.
I did do a little stitching to attach the felted beads,
but other than that it's all been wet felted

That is a beautiful necklace, I am stuck by how much its blowing my mind. It is totally ingenius, I love it! Would you ever think about selling it or another? Even if not, I still think its gorgous!

Artistry is definitely the WORD.  Your felt making is awesome, so well done; the originality is awesome.  I love that this piece has both technical strength and the "WOW" factor.  I too hit "this ROCKS"

Often I wish I had the opportunity to mingle with felters more in person, but I guess the isolation helps keep my inspiration fresh.

kcfirecracker - I was very flattered today when I was approached and asked the same question on the street! I wasn't planning on creating another, but from the amount of encouragement I'm receiving I just might  Smiley

Directly after making the piece, I envisaged creating a piece as a garment
Like a long open vest style piece in various hues of greens and browns.
I imagine it'd have the Fae effect of being covered in vines
It'd take a lot of planning, but I'm pretty sure I could do it  Grin
