I'm really excited about the journals I started making.  Both of them have pockets inside and elastic to hold the paper in so the paper is easily changed.
The first one is 4.5" by 6" closed.  I love the girl design on the cover, it's a replica of a Kurt Halsey drawing.  I made her out of felt, painted felt, t-shirt material, and embroidery.  She took a long time to make but I'm pleased with the results.  I want to make more like this but using my own drawings this time instead.

This is the inside of that same journal.

The second is 3" by 4 1/2" closed.  It's small and works well as a wallet journal.  This one is my own creature design and is just felt and embroidery.

This is a picture of the inside pocket that perfectly holds cards as well as cash.

The journals are nice because inside the fabric cover is plastic so it's washable.  I'm thinking about making more of these to sell with different designs so I'd appreciate any feedback you may have.

I would totally buy something like that if it was a little bigger (at least 8 inches high).  I really like how you've done the covers.  I'm not sure I'd have enough patience for the embroidery like that.

They are really fantastic! I would buy them! I like the creature, but I'm partial to cute/weird/creepy things! XD

I havea question: Did you make the entire book by yourself? It's not just a book that you covered? And how do you make the paper to change it? Or do you purchase it?
