I just moved and my new room has these lovely purple walls in it that I have NO idea what to do with. And they're vaulted too, so they look completely bare...  Undecided  I'm DEFINITELY going to try this, thanks for the fabulous idea!  I don't know if you've noticed, but you sharing of your awesomeness has influenced a whole bunch of people's boring walls for good!  yay!!!   Cheesy

I was looking through these featured projects threads and this really caught my eye. When I first saw that I thought it was paintings or large tiles or something and then someone said they knew what to do with their scrapbook paper now and I was like, "What!? That's scrapbook paper!?" lol
I love it! I'm going to look on that site for some scrapbook papers and give this a try on my wall. My room could definitely use some sprucing up. I have light blue walls and it just seems boring to me. I've been wanting to paint it, but haven't been able to and it seems like a lot of trouble, especially sense I have this huge two piece computer desk with shelves/cabinet doors on top (definitely not easy to move). Thanks for the great idea. It looks lovely.

This is EXACTLY what I had in mind to do when I move in to a dorm. Glad to see it looks great!
I wasn't sure how I was going to attatch the squares the the walls. Texas get very humid in the summer. Would it be better to laminate them and use sticky tack?

I love this idea, but I possibly love scrapbooking more and would end up not being able to resist using them in the stash instead [blush]

What a great idea.  Think it would work in a bathroom?

You'd have to be careful about waterproofing. You could always use a load of different actual tiles instead :-)
