So I saw this last friday on FitSugar.com and immediately decided I wanted one... but not for $60. It's got speakers inside the hat so you can listen to your iPod through it and keep warm.

So using snowtigress's tutorial for a kitty-ear hat from one rectangle, I created my new favorite winter accessory.

I had a pair of headphones that rest on your ears, but they always gave me a headache. So I took the padding off of them and stuck them into a sort of inner-brim secured by stick-on velcro. I would have sewn it shut, but I might want one out of a different color fleece.

Listening to my music is so much more fun with cat ears.

That's so cool! What a neat idea. Your hat is super cute, too. Way cuter than the $60 one. Nicely done!
