Wow, that was fast.  I meant to put a note in, but I lost it when I repackaged the yarn.  I'm hoping the Licorice and Wool-Ease are boy-friendly enough.  The Licorice works up into a nice tweedy fabric, and even my husband (Conservative Boy) likes it.

The black/silver/white wool blend is a yarn I love, but I haven't seen any for ages.  I finally ran across a couple of balls last week and had to get them for you--I think, since you knit, you can get much more mileage out of them than I can.  One of the few yarns I've found that really looks GOOD worked on an oversize hook or needles.

BTW, it's SO cool that you have a Leonard Cohen quote in your signature.  Smiley  I think it's been about seventeen years since I ran into someone who's heard of LC.

I received from droopymccool yesterday when I got home from work. It was like she read my yarny mind- she picked stuff I will totally use and I had a blast going thru the package. She even sent me some awesome soap and a handknit facecloth. So sweet. Kiss
I will post pics tonight in this post- so keep your eyes peeled.

Gwydion, I really like that Licorice stuff, it is nice and fluffy, and I love the colors.  The wool ease is very pretty in a boy-way.  My husband has been sort of hinting that he wants some hand warmers/fingerless gloves, and I think the woolease will go with his brown jacket.  He will look spiffy!

And I love Leonard Cohen.  I started listening to him when I was in junior high.  The first stuff I ever heard was his newer stuff like "the future" and I kind of worked back.  I have a bunch of his records, no one else is allowed to touch them. I have this fear that they will scratch them all up and I will never find them again.

Hey if anybody is interested I am hosting a new swap starting tomorrow. Its a dishcloth/washcloth swap. You can sign up for making as little as one dishcloth or sign up for 2 and send to the same partner. Its an awesome way to practice new stitches & there are lots of great dishcloth knitting sites out there with some really cool patterns. With all of the interest Ive had with it on the New Swap ideas thread- it should prove to be quite a success. Hope to see you all there! Grin
