Would anybody like to do a Juno KAL?  I adore this pattern and will probably cast-on next week if anyone wants to join in.

That is really pretty! I wish I could afford Rowan. I'd be in if I had the pattern!

I know this started almost a year ago but I have just cast on for Juno. If anyone is interested, climb on board!!

I am using RY Classics in Twig, which is a tweedy looking yarn. It is also a worsted weight. I chose to use a thicker yarn rather than use the cotton Rowan(too pricey) doubled! I got gauge on size 8's instead of the 9's the pattern called for!

I am only a few rows in (you know how work and life get in the way of knitting time) but I will keep you all posted on what I get done!

i bought rowan 40 last month for this pattern, i love it - several people have altered the neckline as its very very low, am still wondering what on earth to use (can afford rowan normally, but on ravelry someone worked out this costs over 150 from the recommended wool!)

as soon as i decide what to use i am with you!

I really do love this mag...well worth the $$.

I will also be altering the neckline, when I get there. If you know of any links to successful alterations, I would be appreciative of the help.

I got the RY Classics, Soft Tweed in Twig, on line for a decent price...11 balls @ $4 each. I couldn't see myself buying 20 balls of Rowan cotton and knitting double...plus I like the tweedy look and I think it will look sweet with the cables...see

I will post more when I have more time and can get some more knitting done!!

lillzee, if you are on ravelry there are a few ideas about the neckline, & about wool substitutions in the rowan group
- several people have knitted a few more rows before starting the neckline which has lifted it just that bit that it needs

havent got round to starting it yet but i will asap!

I am on ravelry, Sulkycat...thanks. I did poke around a bit already on some of the ravelry peeps that finished Juno...ran out of time and couldn't really get very far.

Thanks!

Progress has been slow, due to work/life and trying to finish another item on the sticks(Vogue Cable Cardi-info on that trauma on my blog), but progress non the less...
