One lives in Plattsburg and one wants to pretend she still does. Smiley I've been there a few times. Nice place.

Nice place, but we could have more places to buy yarn.. LOL.. So far the options are walmart and michaels.. For the most part I find michaels to be a little too pricey to purchase anything for large projects..

I have Walmart, Joanns in Ogdensburg and there is a big yarn shop that is fairly new in Canton.
I've shopped on line too which is fun but I do like to FEEL what I'm getting. Smiley

I completely understand.. Unfortunately online has the best selection. A while back I bought yarn to make a blanket for my cousin who is pregnant.. Although I will admit the yarn was very soft, after I had crocheted it, it felt like a towel to me.. So needless to say, if I had felt the yarn, I probably wouldn't have purchased it.

Alright!  Some other northern NYers!  I wish people would realize there is more to New York than NYC.  There is nothing hardly anything for crafters in this tundra.  So what does everyone like to make?

I love paper crafts, I am just beginning to make reconstructed t-shirts.  I also make baby blankets.  But mostly, I paint.
