Since your walls are white, it might be neat to put fabric behind each frame. You find scraps and even use shirt material from old clothes or thrift store finds.

it would be kinda cool if you did different things in them, like in some have something hanging, some have shadow boxes, and some just have pictures, that would be pretty interesting

i love the frame wall collage as well as the idea of using them as shadowboxes.

though it's not exactly the same thing, it's pretty similar - take a look at joseph cornell his box sculptures. they're beautiful and could give you assemblage ideas. lovely project!  Cheesy

one for sorrow; two for joy.

yeah i have done things similar to this and it is really fun to either prop small pieces or art up in them or little trinkets. mine is full of neat driftwood and kewl natural objects

all this time i thought people called me Martha stewart because of my innate craftiness, turns out we just have the same manly hands, go figure

Thanks for all the ideas. I especially like putting pieces of fabric or seasonal ornaments in them. Once I do, I'll put a pic up.
Thanks again. And if you have any more suggestions, please let me know.
