I have participated in an artwork swap, and I know before that I had just missed a wall art swap. I love swapping art and would enjoy doing it again.

I propose something simple, such as keeping the swap items to things that can be hung on the wall such as paintings on canvas, drawings, collages, etc....keeping the theme to abstracts.
They can be abstractions of the non representational kind, or abstracted interpretations of recognisable things. ( flowers, people, buildings, whatever)
We can establish a guideline of one large ( say 16x24 inches or bigger or two small 8x10 - under16x24, or three minis smaller than 8x10.
Art should not be framed unless the framing aspect is a part of the work surface, such as a box framed canvas.

If you are practiced at abstracts, this is a chance to show off those skills. If you are new to doing abstracts, this is a good excersize at leaning outside your comfort zone, and have some fun while doing it.
And in the end, all participants have some spiffed up walls thanks to their Craftster swap partner.
