Here's the stuff I sent to Polaritygirl:

On our craft book theme was a book from her Amazon Wishlist bizarre bazaar.

Then I made her 5 bookmarks from a reconned Jan Brett Children's book that had beautiful seashells in the artwork. I sent her a few extras-swirly knitting needles and Apple Martini Lip Balm and some ephemera/vintage buttons (not pictured) for her own altered artwork.

Her main item is a fabric altered art book that is also a ATC book with 6 ATC's I made as well. As you can see I like my altered art to be "encrusted" Wink Smiley

This was fun:)

the ATC's

Holy crap. retro-redux, that book is beautiful!! I'm just getting into altered books myself and I love how versatile it can be! Your style is so fun!

p.s. You should join the discussion about a ring 2 US journal swap! I think you'd be into it! See the link in my signature...

I'm not so familiar with this sort of thing (altered books etc), but this looks wonderful! A real treat for the senses, you'd just want to sit and touch and look at it all the time!

I received from sweetestangel yesterday! Thanks so much for everything. I love it all!

first, everything. There were: 2 books, 2 bookmarks, a hat (not shown- my son stole it!), a bag tht matched the hat, a necklace, and a bunch of sweetestangel's favorite recipes (I like to cook).

Closeups. The necklace. It is made of beads and bone. very cool!:

of course, the books: Ecotopia and God Stalk. They both look interesting:

the bookmarks:

and the bag!

thanks so much for everything, sweetestangel!

So, I've been avoiding the gallery because I felt like a jerk for sending late, but I now that I've sent I can admire guilt free! Everything is fantastic, and I want to add that the bookmark and death bag made by ptarmic wumpus are even more amazing in person; I'll try to get some action shots when I get back to school on Monday.

I received my package last night.  My P did a fabulous job of everything.  The book(play) is one I've been meaning to read for several years, the crafts are awesome and super cute.

Photos will come soon.
