Oh yes, this is another Fetching post.   Cheesy
My first FO of 2007.  This was shipped off today for a swap themed Pink & Brown.  It came out so pretty, I wanted to keep it for myself.  Alas, I unselfishly sent it out, but lucky for me, I have another skein to make one for me me me me!
Thanks for looking!  Grin

They were my first cable project Smiley  Very straightforward and fun.

OP -- they are beautiful.  Love the yarn - is it sws?

This project was pretty easy and yes I do think this would be a good start to cable for beginners.  This cable pattern is very easy.  Elizabethann, good luck and I would love to see the finish product.  Let me know if you have any questions about the pattern.

Hi Honeydew,
I agree totally straightforward and lots of fun to knit.  They were also fast to knit up.  before I knew it, I was done!

And yes, I used the sws.  I love self striping yarns and I think the sws's colors are so pretty.

Thanks for compliment.

oooh those are the prettiest fetching I've seen yet. I made a pair too.. but due to my mad crazy skill in the counting area, one is about an inch longer than the other.. yeah.  Roll Eyes

But I do have two skeins of SWS left over from another project... two balls is too little for a scarf and too big for.. well...... not much. but this would be perfect! Thanks for the idea!

Those are gorgeous! Such regular tension. You should definitely make yourself a pair. I love all the SWS colourways! But I have a possibly unrelated and rather foolish question: what does FO stand for?

loverly! and i don't even like pink.
i've been eyeing those and was thinking of making myself a pair...but i'm intimidated by cables. still, i think they would keep my wrists all toasty warm while knitting!
