I made this quilt for my Grandmother in my Advanced Sewing class. it was supposed to be for christmas, but it wasn't finished in time.

my teacher likes to call these squares "crazy squares" ... I don't know what they're actually called.

the first border is made from strips of the extra I had from the squares.

my "artsy" picture

full size.

close up of one of the squares. There's BEARS in the middle!

close up of the outside border/back fabric

this is my first quilt, so I hopw you all like it as much as I do!<333

Great job!  I love crazy quilts, and the bears in the middle are a nice touch.  Be proud of this one!

Very nice looking quilt!

I read crabby's post about the bears and thought 'what bears' but after a second, closer look, I spotted them!

thanks a lot, guys! it's being sent this weekend.

I also just finished a pillow to match out of the scraps. it's basically just one of the squares but with the trees for a border and the same back fabric as the quilt.
