Thank you so much Ilovemystarbursts! This is much easier to follow than the video- I don't have to keep pausing it...and then rewinding it because I didn't pause it quick enough!  Cheesy

Thanks a million!

It's no problem, as I said I did it really fast. If you have any problems understanding it just ask. Smiley

I found this page.

http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=ja&u=http://g3400.nep.chubu.ac.jp/wook/straw/gallery.html&sa=X&oi=translate&resnum=1&ct=result&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dhttp://g3400.nep.chubu.ac.jp/wook/straw/gallery.html%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DG

It has a picture that show the steps to making the goldfish(i think). I don't understand it(mostly because it is in Japanese), so if anyone figures it out i would love to know how.

 also there is a book

These are ridiculous. So amazing!!! I love anything made out of ctraws... I was on the site Cribcandy and saw these (lamps? chandeliers?) that a man had made entirely out of straws, and there was a bulb in the middle so that the whole thing just glowed. It was stunning... much like these!!

My attempt at shrimps. Cheesy They're named Henk, Henk, Henk and Bert.

I'm planning to make earrings out of them and I already found someone crazy enough to wear them.

I don't know if anyone's posted this yet but LOOK! A YouTube video!! Of shrimp-making!

http://youtube.com/watch?v=qPNONrWWi5Q

And there's no strange language to decipher! Whee!

All I need is some straws.

PS- Ha. Right as I wrote this, an "endless shrimp at Red Lobster" commercial came on. Coincidence? I think not..

I need help on tying the knots....I cut the straw into thirds, folded the skinniest piece, but now I can't seem to get the folding right.
Anyone help me?

Thanks!  Your's was the one I was able to follow the easiest!  I now have a creapy yet utterly cool straw shrimp sitting on my sewing machine.  Let's see who I can scare first....
