It was the warmest January on record in the UK, so what did I make? Scarves Cheesy

Here they are together:

And some close-ups. Firstly, my leap onto the self-striping entrelac bandwagon Grin

The yarn is Wendy Fusion, which is a little bit like Noro, but waaaay cheaper, and 50% acrylic.

Secondly, a short scarf in Rowan Tapestry. The stitch pattern is from the Yarn Harot's blog.

And finally, this is the scarf I made for my husband. He wears it with his suit when it's not quite cold enough for an overcoat. It's also Wendy Fusion, and the stitch pattern is 'moss rib' from one of the Harmony guides (no. 2 I think).

Now let's hope it gets a bit colder...

The scarves are very beautiful.  I can definitely use them here in Wisconsin.  Today's high is supposed to be -1 degree farenheit in Milwaukee and I live a half hour outside of Milwaukee so it may be colder (according to my conversion program, that would be about -18 degrees celcius).  I would be so willing to trade places.  I am not leaving home for even as much as a second today (though when the work week starts I won't have a choice).  brrrrrrrr.........

Creative thinking may mean simply the realization that theres no particular virtue in doing things the way they always have been done.
