I had an assignment to make a mixed CD for a class of mine (women in the media). We didn't have to create a case for it, but the prof asked for a track listing. I'm a craftster, though, so.... duh. Crafted CD case.

I used posterboard for the case, which I then watercolored and sanded lightly to give it a "rough" look. It's a trifold case with a rope around it (embroidery floss in two shades of green) and a toggle clasp in front.

inside (the curved part is where the CD goes). Each of the sections are the lyrics... they're sort of cut off into three parts. 1st is the traditional "suppression of women" and "women as a sexual object" lyric. The second section relates to women and minorities (specifically, gay and trans) recognizing a problem, or giving themselves a voice in media. Third is support of women:
