I made it specifically to cover a small table which has seen a lot of rough use, and has a scuffed and damaged top.

I agree with everyone, that is just beautiful!!

I would love to hear a more detailed description of how you made it....materials, blending etc.

Great work!

There will always be people who say mean words  because you are different, and sometimes their minds cannot be changed. There are many more people who do not judge others based on how they look or where they are from. THOSE are the people whose WORDS truly matter.

Wow, how beautiful.  Was it very difficult?  I'm always intrigued by the idea of making a round ripple, but I've heard they can be tricky...

Thanks so much, everyone, for the kind comments.
Tangerine dreams - I started out with 5 shades, cream, pink, yellow, blue, and mauve, and wound each into two balls. Then, 1st 5 rounds with 2 strands of cream, next 3 rounds with 1 strand cream, 1 strand pink, next 3 rounds with 2 strands pink, next 3 with 1 pink, 1 yellow, I am sure you get the idea..
If you need any more info, I shall be happy to help.

Aelita - It is 26" across ( I use it on a small table).
nessarose - It is not at all difficult. After the 1st few rounds, you can do it in  your sleep.

Wow that looks awesome. The gradient colour change makes a very nice effect.

Would be great to know what pattern you used.

Elemental, I am so glad you like it. There are 2 patterns :
http://project-angel-kisses.150m.com/roundripple.html
http://www.sewonfire.com/round_ripple_afghan.htm
Now, I have a habit of sifting through patterns and taking the aspects I like, and rarely following a pattern to the letter. I suggest you take a look at both, they are very similar, and though one has a mistake somewhere, it is nothing major.

Thanks for the compliments.
Glee - It did not take me long because it's small, and because of the doubled thread, it works up quickly. Of course, if you were to make a blanket, the outer rounds would seem endless..

artsylydia - I am glad you like it. Unfortunately, I have a very basic camera, and cannot take close-ups. In any case, the whole thing is done in dcs, and there is nothing special about the stitches.
