http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=5077173

Found this on Etsy and would love to make it.  Anyone know where I can find the pattern?

I don't want to rip off this knitter so if it's someone's copywrited stuff, no problem.

Know of anything close?Huh

Thanks

It looks to me like it was knit as a loooong rectangle, sewn up on each end to make sleeves, then stitches were picked up around the opening to form the ribbed colloar. It's the same basic design as this one, only with bulky yarn: http://caron.com/projects/shadows/sss_shrug.html.

If it's any help, the yarn looks like Rowan's Biggy Print.

It looks very much like mine:
http://www.lothruin.com/perfectshrug.html
(And another version is less bulky yarn:  http://shknitzel.blogspot.com/2006/02/all-finished.html)

I agree that hers looks like a "typical" shrug in that it's a long rectangle sewn at the sleeves with ribbing added.  Mine's a raglan.  The shaping's a little different, but mostly, I think, because there's less ribbing, which probably is in part due to the width of the rectangle panel she uses, and in part due to the size of the yarn.

It looks kinda like this bolero too if you extend the ribbing around the collar.
