Should we be making separate pages for different spellings (e.g. "jewelry" vs "jewellery") and having them link to one main page (like someone has already done for "atc" and "artist_trading_card") or just ignoring alternative spellings?

Yeah - I think that's a good idea if there is more than one very common spelling of something. And just have all the alternative spellings point to one place.

I know that this is an old post but I feel like I need to elaborate. A practice when people create separate pages for different spellings/misspellings can be regarded as shady by Google. Nowadays, all major search engines will treat jewelry and jewellery the same. To cover all the gaps, optimize the page for the main term (e.g. jewellery) but include the word jewelry twice in the copy.
