I've been making baby blankets for a while now, and thought I might try something a little bit more challenging!

I made this cute bunny blankie for a friends daughter's first birthday. I added her name and a bit of embroidery to personalise and wa - la! Special baby gift!

Pattern is a McCalls Crafts one, no. 3061.

Thanks for looking !

How adorable. hit rocks.

I have a question - baby blankets, is that satin used as trim or ribbon?  What fabric do you use on the blanket?

Its made with a really soft fleece fabric, and satin blanket binding.

The pattern was really easy, ribbon could be used if you wanted to.

My friends liked it so much they have asked me to make one for their niece for christmas! A pink one, will add pic when I'm done x x

needed a boys one quickly for my cousin who has just become a grandma!  found this panda pattern at funky friends factory... was really quick and easy - was quite smaller than bunny, but perfect for newborn Smiley

(pic not great, had to do it quickly as we were leaving for holiday the following day)
