Labyrinth's Ludo Puppet (with process)

My very spoiled boyfriend (he also got the Labyrinth worm) wanted a Ludo toy, so here's Ludo! ...or at least something like him- the colour is wrong, and so is his shape. This was my first time working with fake-fur, and I NEVER plan on doing it again, it's aweful. Anyways, he's about 10 inches, freestanding, the face/hands/feet are clay, and the face is jointed so he can move his mouth. I've had requests to post my process, so that's here too.

Well, I put some tinfoil on the inside of his face to save clay, and I just sewed the body with felt before covering it in fur. There's some posability in the arms and I did that with copper wire. Hope that helps!

That is indeed super great. Hooray! Well done! What kind of clay, for the head? Polymer clay, or something fire-able?

Fake fur is indeed a beeeyotch to work with. I learned from somewhere a very clever trick: when you cut it, use a razor blade or X-acto knife and cut from the back/woven side. That way, you just cut the backing and not the tips of the fur, cleverly avoiding Tiny Pieces of Fur Everywhere.
