Howdy all! I'm looking for a pattern that will allow me to CROCHET a fishnet like fabric. I know how to make the fabric into a triangle. But not a rectangular piece of fabric. I want to make a rectangular fishnet panel as a bellycover for bellydancing.

If any of you know of a site where I can find a pattern like that please let me know. Thanks!

Well, I don't have a pattern, but I do have an idea...

Chain about as long as you want your rectangle to be, plus 2.  Then DC in the 3rd ch, 2 ch (skip over 2 ch), DC in the next chain, for the entire row then go back the next row and DC in all the DCs with the 2 ch's in between.

Of course, how big a net it would make would probably depend on your yarn...

Just an idea, use or dismiss as you like.  Smiley
