Wow - those are all fabulous - especially the second set that you posted.  They look really professional.  How long did it take you to make the stencils?

Well, each stencil varied. The Joe Strummer and Elvis ones were easy because there wasn't much detail - about 10-15 minutes each, I'd say. The Bob Marley one took probably closer to 15 or 20 minutes and the Jimi Hendrix one took aaages because of all of the jagged lines on his afro and tiny detail on his face. I just print out pictures, and then trace them onto overhead sheets and cut out with an x-acto knife.

they're really cool.

look like twiggy one's i have made for my mum's shop - i hadn't thought of doing elvis ones [currently making a list of icons that teenagers would want pictures/cushions of in their bedrooms.]
