Heading to DC on Sunday for a few days and will be staying at the Capitol Hilton. What's around? I don't recall seeing any chain craft stores nearby..how bout LYS or other craft supply places? Beading places?

Thanks!

Also Knit Happens in Old Town Alexandria (which is a beautiful place to visit anyway, if you have time!):

Thank you for the suggestions. I won't have too much downtime, unfortunately, but I hope to at least visit StitchDC. Was searching on the 'net for stores--and also for bead stores--there seems to be one in the mall...will try to hit that, as well.

edit: WELL, I wasn't staying at the Capitol Hilton--was at the Washington Hilton LOL So I walked the couple of blocks to Dupont Circle and dropped more than several dollars at Beadazzled. I never did get to any yarn stores, though Sad

I'm going to D.C. in the spring, I'll be stopping by here since we are staying at the King St. metro stop. Glad I found this thread.  Smiley
