I received a package from CraftyDeb today - she picked me for an amigurumi pig but the package that arrived held MUCH more than that.

2 sunflower hotmats (which I'll actually use for decorations in my fall theme), a wonderful stitched teacup (being framed to hang with my teapots), some fantastic teacup fabric (a new table covering) and great pens.

What's not in the pictures are 2 bottles of hot sauce she sent for my hubby to add to his collection.

Hey, here's my latest in print design!

And I just found out that my spiderweb and my giant spider toy (this thing is like 2 feet from foot to foot - the body is like a foot long alone from head to toe and the legs are like 12" long too - well it's going to be in Hooked on Crochet in October.  Slowly but surely they are trickling out into the world.  I made that Autumn in Vermont blanket last summer I believe - or was it last spring?  I want to say it was over the summer. 

Okay. must go now.  I need to be a mommy again for a little bit!

You are going to just die when you see the spiderweb.  It is sharp and you know me - it is NOT just plain lines and increased chains between the lines.. nope.  I had to go about it my own way.  It has a pretty wild design going on!  You'll have to wait until October to see that one though!  I do have a few coming out this spring in a few different magazines. When I see them I will pass them along.  I lost my list of what was going in when which stinks.  I do know that I have a blanket and an octopus baby toy going into a Leisure Arts booklet but I don't know when that is due out.  I do need to see if I can get a list of what is coming out when - I like to get a copy of them in print although I am not going to get the Mary Maxim one... I am hoping to get a copy of the catalog though!  I am on their list but don't know why I haven't gotten that one in yet!

I am happy to report I recieved two wonderful packages today and they are both great!

Pawnshoppromises made me a great Tshirt that says freak magnet in red with white stars. It's a little too big but I am handy and looking forward to doing some recon! She also made me the most amazing smelling soaps in pink and purple. they are shaped like Hello Kitty. FAB!!!

Caliswimgal made me a monster Ipod case and it's pretty neat. I might try to add some plastic on the screen or something cause it doesn't stay on all by itself maybe just a little tape or glue will help. Either way it's purple wonderful , she also made me a matching monster bracelet that says Rawr! So cute!!

And I owe kiki*eks an apology from ONG18 I loved her tote bag so much I never posted a picture of it for you guys. She made me a lovely blue and white striped tote bag with a denim pocket and hand stenciled design on it. She even made a hello kitty patch to go on it. And if that wasn't great enough she also made me a matching zipper pouch. I have been using it since I recieved it!! I love it.

ooooh I got my package from knitwit today! She claimed me for a calorimetry and some wool roving. The roving is absolutely luscious and the calorimetry matches my coat and scarf perfectly

(Not a spectacular picture, but the rest didnt turn out. You know, i never realized before how many pictures I take in the bathroom.... Wow)

The roving: it all fit into a gallon bag. the white and navy is superwash merino, the blue/purple is coopsworth, the green is mohair, the red/orange is coopsworth, the white is a columbia/dorset blend, and the red is more superwash. Its all fantastic!



Okay, now Ive got to scurry off to take a brit lit midterm! (ugh, beowulf, how I despise you....) Thanks knitwit, I love it
