I didn't even know Kool-Aid but I have to try it. I already tried the Fruit-Chocolate-Chips and they taste amazing! I love them!

Whew, so glad it arrived.  I was a little worried that maybe I didn't have it packaged good enough - I ran out of tape    But I see from the picture that everything is there.  I've never done this but I've read on Craftster that you can also you Kool-Aid for dying yarn.

Wow there have been some great packages this round I have wisted several things already!!

So I got some wonderful things in the mail this weekend and I am just now getting around to posting pictures, but that doesn't mean that I am not using the items that I have gotten!

First is my tie purse from xladyluckx-

And here is the pocket on the inside I would show you more of the inside but it is full of my stuff!! I put my things in it as soon as it came out of the box and I have been using it ever since!! Although I am having to keep it far away from my mother she is trying to steal it from me!

Last week, just before heading out of town for a longweekend, I received a package from gatheredthreads (formerly artsiefartsie.)  She sent me this beautiful quilted pillow cover:

GREAT pillow cover!  (i've received so much mickey mouse fabric in so many different designs, i need to learn how to do that, so i can make squares.... anyone offering lessons?)

ok, so yesterday was a postal holiday..... for a change.

today seems to have been packages from Canada day for me....

in addition to the fabulous purse by Groschveaux (apologies if I've spelled it wrong), Marija also sent me some great mickey fabric.... and with all the mickey fabrics that the lovely people on craftster have sent, i don't think i've gotten ANY duplications.... so on my next wish list is going to be someone to teach me how to make great quilt squares from my fabric!! (my apologies that the picture isn't better)


then, there was a package from k8kre8s... she sent me a full skein of that awesome recycled silk sari yarn.... check out these colors!

If the other Mickey material you received is anything like this stuff, my suggestion would be to decide how big you want your squares to be and then cut the fabric up into that size and sew all the different materials together.  If you cut the material up into small pieces and then piece squares, you will lose your Mickey's.  (does that make sense?)

yes ma'am - makes perfect sense....

here's what i'm thinking - i have a load of different mickeys... so big squares of those.  i have a handful of diferent skully fabrics, too - so some squares of that, too.  then all the other, smaller stuff, i can piece squares of those.....

gonna be a heck of a blanket, no?
