Dear SevsOnlyGirl,

Thank you so much for my grab bag of crafty stuff - it's WONDERFUL!!

the rotary cutter was a nice touch.

And I love the altoid's type tins from the dark chocolates.

Couldn't you have sent the chocolate, too?

zippers, notions, EMPTY chocolate tins and *that* rotary cutter

ribbons, bobbins, needles, patches and thread

vintage pattern, ribbons and a cool goya book for decoupage

fabrics, including mickey!

a great tote bag (she DID say a grab bag)

oh yeah - and my thumb, with a crayon bandaid

Dulcinea, didn't your mother ever tell you not to run your fingers and thumbs over sharp objects?  If not, she should have!

Funny story related to that - when my youngest son was around 10, we were in the hardware store and he picked up a utility knife, slid out the blade and ran his finger down the length of it - you can imagine the cut he got!  When we asked him why he had done that he said he had seen Dad check a blade for sharpness that way and wanted to try it.  We then had to explain that Dad had 'gently' run his thumb across the blade, not down the length of it.  He never tried that again!

I just bought a rotary cutter and board at Joann's (40% off, yea!) for applique. Now I'm scared to use it because my eye/hand coordination is not the best.

hmmm, rotary cutter.  I really could do with one of those for my quilting projects instead of scissors.  It would make life so much easier!

Great work guys by the way, so many lovely packages showing up!

Theses are the nicest little finger puppets I have ever seen! 1000000000 times better than those Ikea ones.
Gatheredthreads made the puppets!? I am adding the puppets and if I could I would add gatheredthreads to my wists too!  Wink

I did not make the finger puppets.  I do not have that much patience, sadly!  They are from a fair trade women's collective in Peru.  I do have more, if anyone is interested  Grin
