When my sister and I were younger and had time to kill waiting for one thing or another, we would play a game called 5 Lines. We would take turns drawing 5 seperate lines on a piece of paper- then the other one had to draw a picture using those 5 lines to make something! So in honor of my sister, who passed away 10 yrs ago, I did a  5Line  today-here it is- the black lines are the 5 lines I drew first- then I created the abstract "The Dragon Slayer"

Made entirely at work on an index card using highliters, colored pencils and a black sharpie.

Here's one I threw together this morning.  I bought a new purse last night, and the skull & crossbones was on the tag.  The button is from my stash.

That's from a purse?!  I want a piratey purse!  Don't really like purses, but now I want a piratey one.

Okay, for the Jamboree swap, I quilted you some pirate skull and crossbones fabric, to make you a purse, but then you said no purses.... so I made something else instead!  Silly goose.  It's still sitting there, on my craft table, wanting a purpose in life.

What a fun game! We could prob make that into a swap...all participants draw five random lines on a card, mail them to a partner, the partner makes an ATC then sends it back! How much fun would that be?!?!?

Here's something completely out of my norm...  inky layers technique from Bernie Berlin's "Artist Trading Card Workshop" book, and a packing tape transfer.



Boy, did I make a mess while doing this one.
