On Valentine's day my son usually would give a little gift to his teacher along with his card (bribing the teacher never hurts). This year we are very broke so I was trying to come up with a project using only what I had around the house and complete rather quickly because as usual I waited until the last minute. So here is what I made....

The best part was that I used scraps from other shrinky dink projects to make the hearts and bigger pieces to make the backing. I used different shades of nail polish to get the different colors (after they had been baked) They are pretty small but would look cute as a classroom decoration I think.

I think they are cute - they could be cute Valentine's pendents too, on a ribbon necklace.

When I started out I was intending to make pendants but they ended up a bit larger than I intended so I put the ribbon on as a hanger instead.
