Here she is! I decided to call this sweater Atia because I've become addicted to that show Rome. This is the first sweater I've ever designed myself, so be kind Smiley

This was knit almost totally in the round, with a garter stitch lace panel in the front. Knit with Cascade 220 in Amethyst Heather. Thanks for looking!

It's absolutely beautiful!  I love the style of it.  Very hip and not like those big bulky sweaters you see in grandma's knitting mag! Fantastic job.

Thanks, you guys  Grin I'm so impressed with everything people have come up with for this challenge; it's so cool how one stitch can be the jumping off point for so much rad creativity.

I've never heard of the show before, but I love that sweater. I bet it would look really good with long sleeves...

Is it ribbed all the way around?

Yes--In order to avoid shaping  Tongue, although the lace panel made the front a bit wider in the bust area, so there is some shaping in there, but it is purely unintentional Wink

I think it's really pretty. I like the shape of it and the lace panel on the front. And it's in my favorite color!

These entries just keep getting better & better, I look at mine & think "I'm not worthy!"

-BTW if you ever decide to put the pattern out there I'd definitely be interested. Wink

Yes! I had never worked with it before, but I was wooed by the color, the softness, and the affordability/yardage! Sometimes wool can be so pricey, but this was thrifty as well as nice to work with. It also blocked wonderfully. Yeah, Cascade 220!

You're going to write out the pattern, right? Right?!

Seriously, this is a pattern that I'd actually pay money for, and I hate buying patterns.

I agree! This is the cutest sweater ever, and I really hope you write a pattern. I rarely see patterns that make me squeal, but yours did.

You guys are the best. I'm still working on a pattern for this--I thought I took great notes while I was making it, but know I'm looking back though my notebook and thinking, "How in the heck did I get from here to here???" It is in the works though, I promise! Thanks again for all the kind words Smiley
