Hey Craftsters!  I live in Franklin and recently got my first spinning wheel.  I thought about taking a class but they are sooooo expensive($150-$275 for one class, plus you have to bring your own materials!).  Is there anyone near by that would be willing to help a new spinner out?  I could probably work out some sort of crafty trade Grin...

I know this post is like 7 months old now, but I was wondering... Did you ever get the hang of it? I spin with a spindle, but I took a class down at The Fiber Studio in Henniker, it's not a class they run all the time, but if you can catch it, it was only $80.

Thanks for the tip nikkiana.  I am slowly getting the hang of it...  Still over twisting a bit, but I was able to crochet something out of the yarn I made so.... slow progress.  And I don't get to spin as often as I like.  I'll look into that class though!  Thanks!
